Our mission is to embrace people of all cultures in a happy and fun environment, teaching them how to achieve their best and healthiest curls. If that’s what you’re looking for, then you’ve found the place for you! In order to make sure we are on the same page and we are the right fit for you, we would like you to take a few moments and fill this form out to the best of your ability, in its entirety. The more information we have about your curls and your curl story, the better prepared we are to give you the best Southern Curl experience possible. Our Southern Curl Custom Curl Cuts are meant to be worn curly and will not look its best when straightened. We encourage our clients to embrace their natural curly hair.
The best way to get an appointment is to fill out our “Get to Know You” form. Once we receive the form we will call you to reserve your appointment or reserve a place on our waiting list. Please note that a credit card is required to secure the reservation or your place on the waiting list. We accept all major credit cards excluding American Express.
What To Expect – (your first appointment)
Southern Curl appointments take, on average, about two to two and a half hours. Your appointment will include:

How to prepare for your appointment
All clients must arrive at the salon with hair that is 100% dry, within one-day of being washed and styled with products to enhance the curl. We want to see how you achieve your best curls with your current products and methods. Please do not use or wear bobby pins, ponytails, headbands, rubber bands, hats, clips or anything else that will leave dents, marks or change your curl pattern in any way. Excessive snarls, product buildup or hair that has been styled that alters or stretches out the curl pattern may require an additional pre-service or re-booked for a later appointment.
Salon Information and Policies
A 48 hour notice is required for any schedule changes or cancellations. We do not double book our appointments, the time is set aside All booked services receive reminders two weeks, one week , five days out and three days before the scheduled appointment- PLEASE confirm by typing reply to your reminder.
Appointments canceled less than 48 hours are responsible for 50% of the booked service. No shows are responsible for 100 percent of the total service booked.
BEGINNING DECEMBER 1st, 2020- If we do not receive a reply to the email/text reminder at least 48 hours in advance, your appointment is removed from the schedule. All we ask is for the courtesy of a cancellation. If you decide you do not need a part of the service you are booked for, you must also give notice 48 hours in advance as we need to remove the service from your appointment and open it up to another client.
Should you require to be rebooked due to not following the “How To Arrive” instructions, you are responsible for the cost of the scheduled services from your original appointment.
We ask that all clients try to arrive at the salon 15 minutes before their scheduled time. In turn, clients have a 10 minute late grace period. Client’s that are outside the grace period will have a late fee added to their requested service if servicing is still possible. Or, the appointment is rescheduled and the client is responsible for the cost of the time booked.
Confirmation emails, text, and manual text are sent 14, 7, 5, and 3 days before the booked appointment. All unconfirmed appointments are canceled 48 hours before the requested date.
Lastly, please make sure that your phone and email information is up to date with the front desk. This will ensure that your appointments are not removed from the schedule, or you do not have a late or no-show fee attached to your service bill.
